Soundscape – Horn Concerto – Deutsche Radiophilharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern – Petr Popelka

In March 2022, the German hornist Felix Klieser gave the world premiere of Martinsson’s “Soundscape - Horn Concerto” in collaboration with Deutsche Radiophilharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern with Petr Popelka conducting.

Except for this main commissioner there are two co-commissioners, Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra in Umeå and Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi that will take their country premieres respectively in spring 2023. Alondra de la Parra will be conducting the Italian premiere in Milano. Late spring 2023 Klieser/Deutsche Radiophilharmonie/Popelka will record the concerto at the label Berlin Classics Edel, at Congresshalle, Saarbrücken.
